Description

Valleris Sauvignon belongs to a family project rooted in Valerisce, within the municipality of San Floriano del Collio. The vineyards grow on the border hills between Italy and Slovenia, in ponca soils formed from marl and sandstone. Vineyard work is manual and follows principles that respect biodiversity; harvesting is also carried out by hand. The cellar approach includes contact with the grape skins and resting in Slavonian oak casks. The wine thus reflects the estate’s choice to develop its whites through skin maceration and maturation in wood.
