The 2019 Rossomató from Valter Mattoni is a red wine labelled as Marche IGT, produced in the hills around Castorano (Ascoli Piceno). It is made from 100% Alicante grapes and is reported to receive extended oak ageing (about 24 months in barrique). It is a full-bodied, structured wine with ripe red fruit and spicy-toasty nuances from the oak.
