Van Zellers & Co.’s 30 Years Old Tawny Port is selected from wines averaging thirty years of age, kept in very old wooden casks. Its varietal heritage includes numerous traditional Douro grapes from Cima Corgo, particularly the Torto and Pinhão valleys. Prolonged maturation accompanies a profile of honeyed fruit, spices, dried apricots and nuts. The texture is rich and silky. The blend is bottled on demand; a slightly chilled serving temperature highlights the range of aromas and the character acquired through the wines’ extended time in wood.
