Van Zellers & Co.’s 80 Years Very Very Old Tawny Port draws on the traditional grape heritage of Cima Corgo, particularly the Torto and Pinhão valleys. Its deep amber colour shows greenish highlights. The profile brings together nutmeg, dried fig, candied orange peel, toffee and coffee, accompanied by evolved tobacco notes. A silky texture is supported by lively acidity; caramelised fruit and balsamic nuances extend the finish.
