Description

Van Zellers & Co.’s Late Bottled Vintage Port brings together numerous traditional Douro varieties, hand picked in different vineyards. Principal grapes include Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration, preserving its substance. Its deep ruby colour accompanies a floral and fruity profile, with suggestions of cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry complemented by cedar nuances. A velvety tannic texture supports a finish centred on fruit. Chocolate and cheeses provide suitable pairings for the wine’s intensity and persistent character.
