Description

Van Zellers & Co.’s VZ 15 Gerações celebrates the fifteenth generation joining the family business. The project began with selected barrels entrusted to Cristiano van Zeller’s children to create the blend. The wine combines numerous red varieties from old Cima Corgo vineyards. Grapes are trodden by foot in granite lagares before fermenting in stainless steel; maturation in French oak barriques follows. This combination of vineyards, varieties and cellar selection defines a Douro red linked to family continuity and the role of time in developing its identity.
