Description

Terre Cuite 2017 from Vazart-Coquart is a Blanc de Blancs made from grapes grown in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly. It is 100% Chardonnay from the 2017 harvest, vinified in a terracotta ova (egg-shaped) vessel; the dosage is very low (1.5 g/l) and disgorgement is manual. The release emphasizes its Grand Cru origin and the terracotta vinification method used to enhance texture and density without malolactic fermentation.
