Description
Veuve Clicquot Edition 4 (marketed as Extra Brut Extra Old 4) is a non-vintage cuvée made exclusively from the house’s reserve wines. The fourth edition blends reserve wines from 1996, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014 and is composed of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier, with a dosage of 3 g/L. Aromatically it shows lime blossom, white flowers, citrus and orchard fruit, with hints of ginger, bread dough and a saline minerality; the palate is precise, energetic and structured. Recommended pairings include delicate cuisine, seafood, tartares and ceviche.
