Description

La Grande Dame is Veuve Clicquot’s tribute to Madame Clicquot and her vision for Pinot Noir. First presented for the house’s bicentenary, it interprets the grape through a selection of historic vineyard sites, complemented by Chardonnay. The proportions have changed over time, while the pursuit of finesse, freshness and balance remains central. The cuvée therefore tells the story of an individual harvest as well as a continuous house style. Its character emerges from the dialogue between structure and precision, with maturation gradually developing the complexity that forms part of its identity.
