Vie di Romans Cortesar 2018 is a Friuli Isonzo Chardonnay from the I Climat collection. The vintage shows a golden colour and a profile combining exotic fruit, chamomile, acacia honey and butterscotch. Its palate is creamy and fruity, with a measured progression and a prolonged finish. The wine comes from the vineyard setting of Mariano del Friuli, where soils and microclimates are considered individually. This interpretation of parcels belongs alongside the Gallo family’s work, which has involved vinifying its vineyards separately for more than three decades.
