Description

Vie di Romans’ Flors di Uis is a dry white combining Malvasia Istriana, Friulano and Rhine Riesling. The grapes come from the Boghis, Ciampagnis and Vie di Romans vineyards at Mariano del Friuli, in Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte. Gravel-rich, well-drained soils include sand and silt, with reddish shades associated with iron and aluminium oxides. Cellar work involves cold skin maceration, fermentation with selected yeasts and time on the lees, without malolactic fermentation. The blend brings together three different grape identities within the estate’s approach to white wine.
