Description

Vietti’s Barbera d’Alba Vigna Vecchia Scarrone is a Barbera d’Alba D.O.C. made from grapes grown in the oldest part of the Scarrone vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. Winemaking includes pre-fermentation cold maceration and fermentation in steel, followed by roughly 18 months’ ageing split between steel, barriques and large barrels. The wine displays a ruby red colour with ripe cherry, vanilla and spice notes, with bright acidity, full body and an intense finish.
