Description

Vietti’s La Crena is a Barbera d’Asti DOCG made from grapes grown in the La Crena vineyard in Agliano Terme. The oldest vines were planted in 1932 on a clay-limestone soil, contributing concentration and depth to the wine. Vinification includes maceration with extended post-fermentation skin contact and roughly 18 months of ageing split between steel, barriques and large casks. The wine shows ripe red fruit, spicy hints and pronounced freshness.
