Description

The Vietti Barolo 2021 is a Barolo DOCG produced by Vietti from grapes sourced across several vineyards in the Barolo area. It is made from 100% Nebbiolo, Guyot-trained, grown on limestone-clay soils; individual MGA sites are vinified separately and blended prior to bottling. Aging is about 30 months, mainly in large casks and partially in barriques. The wine shows a medium-intensity ruby color with aromas of plum, cherry, rose petal and tobacco; on the palate it is classic, rich and powerful, with well-integrated tannins and a finish of alpine herbs and leather.
