Vietti's Barolo Cerequio comes from the historic Cerequio vineyard, one of Barolo's most important named sites, on silty, marly soils with vines about forty years old. Hand harvest, around 30 months in large casks and a small share of barriques, bottled unfiltered. The 2021 is elegant and enveloping, with dried rose, raspberry, citrus and balsamic notes.
