Description

Monvigliero expresses Verduno through Nebbiolo from one of the village’s most recognisable vineyards. Sant’Agata marls, with a substantial silty component, underpin slopes with favourable exposures. Vietti includes a proportion of whole bunches in the fermentation, which takes place in stainless steel before maturation in oak. The estate describes ripe red fruit, rose and delicate spice in the aromatic profile. Silky tannins and a rounded texture provide the structural framework while preserving the vineyard’s aromatic finesse. This is a Barolo that brings clearly defined fruit together with a supple, carefully shaped palate.
