Description

Vietti’s Ravera is a Barolo DOCG made from Nebbiolo grown in the namesake geographical mention in Novello. The hillside faces west and southwest at around 400 metres, with soils that include Sant’Agata marls. Its oldest section was planted in 1935. Winemaking includes skin contact and traditional submerged-cap maceration, followed by maturation in large barrels. In the estate’s general description, floral aromas sit alongside red fruit and white pepper, while lively acidity provides definition. These elements introduce a wine closely associated with its particular hillside origin.
