Vietti’s Rocche di Castiglione is a Barolo DOCG made from Nebbiolo grown in the historic Castiglione Falletto vineyard. The vines face south at around 330 metres above sea level, on marl soils. Gentle crushing precedes fermentation in stainless steel with pump-overs and submerged-cap maceration, followed by malolactic fermentation in wood and oak maturation. The estate’s general description evokes mandarin, red fruit, rose and chamomile. On the palate, it highlights freshness, balance and a silky texture, with prominent yet integrated tannins and a sustained finish.
