Description

Vignai da Duline’s Chardonnay Ronco Pitotti comes from the Friuli Colli Orientali, from a vineyard on marl, sandstone and limestone flysch soils. The wine forms part of Lorenzo Mocchiutti and Federica Magrini’s work, rooted in restoring old vineyards and respecting environmental balance. Grapes are harvested by hand and sorted both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Fermentation is natural, and maturation includes oak vessels, stainless steel and bottle. This sequence accompanies the Chardonnay while keeping its specific hillside origin and the careful treatment of the fruit at the centre of the wine.
