Description

Vignai da Duline’s Morus Alba brings together Malvasia Istriana and Sauvignon from two distinct estate vineyards. Its botanical name, meaning white mulberry, recalls a tree linked to Friuli’s rural history, formerly grown to feed silkworms and also used to support grapevines. This tradition is represented on the label. The two varieties find common ground in the work of Lorenzo Mocchiutti and Federica Magrini: maturation in old oak barrels and completion of malolactic fermentation accompany a cuvée that connects different grapes and vineyard origins within the same expression of the estate.
