Description

Vignai da Duline’s Pinot Nero Ronco Pitotti comes from the Friuli Colli Orientali, from a vineyard retaining plantings dating to 1940 and 1980. The soil combines marl, sandstone and limestone flysch, giving the cuvée a clearly defined origin. Lorenzo Mocchiutti and Federica Magrini studied this site for years before releasing their Pinot Nero. Maturation in previously used oak barrels and subsequent rest in bottle form part of its development. The wine therefore connects an international grape with the continuity of a Friulian vineyard and the family’s careful work over time.
