Description

Monterotondo is the Cortese cru through which Villa Sparina explores Gavi’s capacity to age. It comes from a historic, well-exposed section of the estate within the municipality of Gavi and is vinified separately to preserve its identity. The project focuses on balance, structure and a clear sense of place: freshness and acidity accompany the substance needed for development over time. Savoury and mineral qualities are central to the estate’s description. This is a deeper interpretation of the variety, combining elegance with strength and persistence while allowing bottle age to develop its expression of the site.
