Description

Vincent Dancer’s Les Corbins comes from a small named site on the lower slope of Meursault, near Clos de la Barre and Les Criots. Its Chardonnay grows on stony Bathonian limestone, with vines planted in the 1980s. Bottling this origin separately reveals a particular facet of the village. Fermentation is natural and maturation takes place in barrel without lees stirring, followed by a period in stainless steel. The cellar approach accompanies the individual parcel, maintaining a continuous connection between the soil, the grape variety and the wine’s identity.
