The Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots of Maison Vincent Girardin, in Meursault, is made from hand-picked Pinot Noir in the Santenots premier cru, on the border between Meursault and Volnay. It ages in oak and is bottled without fining or filtration. The 2021 is intense and concentrated, with plum, sour cherry, rose petals and forest floor.
