Description

Vincent Paris's Granit 60 is a Cornas combining three parcels of mature vines on steep slopes. Its name refers to the granite ground and the gradient of the Sauman site, which reaches sixty per cent. Part of the harvest is vinified as whole bunches; maceration includes pumping over, and maturation takes place in previously used barrels. The profile brings together power and finesse, with concentration and silky tannins. Violet, cherry, blackberry and liquorice characterise its aromatic expression, while persistence and structure accompany its development over time.
