Description

Produced by Vincent Pinard, the Charlouise Sancerre Rouge 2022 is a Sancerre red made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the Charlouise lieu-dit in Bué on calcareous clay soils (Oxfordian and Kimmeridgian). The estate has managed the vineyards organically since 2004 and applies biodynamic practices; fermentation uses native yeasts and the wine is aged about 17–20 months in oak with minimal sulfur. The result is a structured red that reflects the terroir and character of Sancerre Pinot Noir.
