Description

Frau Welt Blanc is a white cuvée from Von der Vogelwaide, the project Daniel Vogelwaid and Michael Donabaum began in the Wachau in 2019. Neuburger, Grüner Veltliner and Riesling are among the grapes that define its identity. The two winegrowers focus on small plots along the Danube, many of them steep and difficult to cultivate. Manual work and attention to vineyard life accompany a patient approach in the cellar, centred on spontaneous fermentation and time for maturation. Frau Welt forms part of this personal interpretation of the region, offering a different perspective on its winegrowing heritage through the blending of varieties.
