Description

Nigl’s Grüner Veltliner Privat comes from Ried Pellingen, on the steep terraces of Senftenberg in the Kremstal. The vineyard rests on mica schist and faces south to southwest, between 250 and 315 metres above sea level. The selection emphasises the substance of the grapes and a structure capable of developing over time. Maturation uses stainless steel and large wooden casks, balancing fruit and texture. The Privat designation identifies this concentrated interpretation of Grüner Veltliner, linked to a historic slope of the Krems valley and its mineral character.
