Hommage Josef Nigl is a Grüner Veltliner first made in 2021 as a tribute to the family’s grandfather. The grapes come from one of his original vineyards in Ried Pellingen, a place particularly dear to Josef and already part of the estate when the following generation took over in 1985. The soil is primary rock, and the wine is fermented and matured in small oak barrels. This approach accompanies a structured, deep wine whose stylistic reference is the balance of elegance and substance. The cuvée maintains a precise connection between family history, vineyard and cellar practice.
