Nigl’s Senftenberger Piri Riesling comes from south-facing vineyards in the Krems valley. The parcels share similar slopes, mica-schist soils and climatic conditions, forming a coherent origin for the cuvée. Winemaking and maturation in stainless steel accompany a dry style in which fruit remains clearly defined. The profile suggests peach, with a juicy texture supported by lively acidity. A mineral and saline element accompanies the finish. The wine expresses Riesling through the meeting of ripe fruit and freshness within the terraced landscape around Senftenberg in Lower Austria.
