Description

Weingut Seckinger’s Pfälzer Riesling “Königsbach Ölberg” 2022 comes from the single Ölberg vineyard in Königsbach, within the Pfalz region. Soils of Buntsandstein, calcareous gravel and marly limestone together with a southeast aspect yield aromas of yellow fruit and stone fruit framed by pronounced mineral salinity; whole‑cluster pressing is used to retain the site’s finesse. On the palate the wine is dense and concentrated, with balanced acidity and ample extract leading to a saline, lingering finish.
