Will Arnold's Syrah comes from a personal project shaped by experience in Burgundy and the Rhône. Originally from Kent, Will worked with Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey and Jean-Louis Chave before concentrating on his own wines. Syrah was central to his earliest winemaking, which began with small quantities of grapes from Colombier-le-Vieux. His cellar approach favours spontaneous fermentation, restrained intervention and previously used barrels selected to avoid masking the grape's character. The labels are equally personal: watercolours painted by the producer evoke the places from which he sources the fruit for his wines.
