Description

La Terre is Windows Estate's interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc within its Petit Lot range. The name, meaning the land, reflects an intention to highlight the wine's origin and build texture partly through contact with the grape skins. The fruit comes from the Home Block, where north–south rows help shade the bunches and preserve natural acidity. The soil consists of gravelly loam over clay. Maturation involves both clay vessels and oak, contributing to an approach to Sauvignon Blanc that focuses on depth, texture and the individuality of its vineyard source.
