Description

Dalsheimer Bürgel is a Pinot Noir from WongAmat, Jan Raumland's project in Flörsheim-Dalsheim. The vineyard faces east and benefits from relatively cool conditions that encourage slow ripening. Its soil combines limestone subsoil with heavy clay, which retains water and supports the vines through dry periods. The vines in the estate's parcel were planted in 2001. In the producer's interpretation, this combination of aspect, climate and soil gives wines of finesse and depth, bringing the elegance of Pinot Noir together with the potential to develop over time.
