Description

Euphancholie is WongAmat's red cuvée, combining Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc through ageing inspired by the Solera method. Jan Raumland presents it as a meeting between the depth of Bordeaux varieties and an elegance that can appeal to Pinot Noir enthusiasts. The grapes come from the winery's garden and a small vineyard in Kriegsheimer Rosengarten. Its name brings together euphoria and melancholy, taking inspiration from Benedict Wells's novel Hard Land. The aim is a wine approachable in its youth, in which blending creates balance and continuity.
